Hoffenheim to continue road scoring trends.....

Bundesliga: Freiburg- Hoffenheim
Hoffenheim's last away day was a trip to Union Berlin and my notes included.....
TSG opened with a 2-1 win at Leverkusen when they were my "upset" of the day suggestion and I added.....Hoffenheim have scored 2-4-2-4 goals in their last four competitive away starts and their series with Leverkusen has been incredibly high scoring with the last 20 meetings averaging 3.5 goals.
They lost 3-1 at home to Frankfurt on Matchday 2 and fell out the blocks that day, but their numbers were pretty good and this is a side ideally set up to play on the road and we/I almost only ever back them away from home and they can score 2+ goals for the 6th straight time away from Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim won 4-2 and Union franked the form with a 4-3 win at Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend. TSG were, meanwhile, losing 4-1 at home to Bayern in their only subsequent outing, but we can forgive them that and thankfully, they are back on the road today and can score 2+ goals away from Hoffenheim for the 7th consecutive game and against an opponent who have been playing a very open style.
Last month I wrote .....Freiburg recorded their 3rd top 6 finish in the last four seasons. 5th is their joint highest since 1994/95 and they were helped last season by no European football, having finished 10th in 23/24, the most recent time that they have played domestically and in Europe. Freiburg have a concerning -17 goal difference across the last two seasons and you have to go down to Augsburg in 12th place to find a team who scored fewer goals in 24/25.
They have conceded 9 goals in their last four home starts and their last eight have been entertaining affairs....

They did keep a clean sheet at Bremen, but the hosts had more than enough chances to score at least one goal. Freiburg were at home on Wednesday in the Europa League, beating Basel 2-1 and they lost 4-0 after their most recent quick turnaround ( 3-4 day gap) and have not had the experience of playing many of those in the last 18 months or so. TSG have scored 2+ goals in 5 of 8 visits, with the last two finishing 3-2.
